A pleasant and comfortable environment in an office or business situation is most important. Staff work best when they are comfortable. Too cold and they will rightly complain - too hot and again they will complain. In both extremes they will not be working at their best.

Put lots of heat into an indoor space before it is occupied to get the right temperature and as soon as the computers and ancillary equipment are turned on, not forgetting the heat given out by each person, the room becomes unbearably hot. So the old (and inefficient) cooling system is turned on and blasts people with cold air whilst being a major distraction due to its noisy operation. Room temperature plummets and the heating comes back on and the cycle starts all over again.

Today heating and cooling systems no longer have to be separate. Everywhere you go today you will see wall or ceiling mounted units as shown in the accompanying picture. They are often referred to as air conditioning units and mistakenly considered to only cool the air being circulated.

Today air conditioning does not equal air cooling. Enter the heat pump inverter system.

Heat pump inverter systems which can deliver heat as well as cooling are the most energy efficient systems on today's market. These systems are tested for energy efficiency just like washing machines and dishwashers and are given the European standard energy efficiency rating on a label. They vary from manufacture to manufacture having energy efficiency ratings across a wide spectrum from A to E. Both cycles are rated so so a system with a rating A/A is very energy efficient.

So now those units in the ceiling or on the wall can be the most energy efficient way of maintaining that comfortable environment in the office or business.
